In either case the most elementary and important concern will be managing data and migrating it safely to the new system. Microsoft has a comprehensive system for data migration that there is no data loss during the process and the current data is optimized so that it can  be accessed in the new system.

Considerations Before Microsoft Dynamics NAV Data Migration

When you are migrating large volume of data then it would be best to optimize it by –
